Dear Friends and Family,
It is with great hope that I announce my campaign for District 3- City Council for the newly created City of South Fulton. As a father, education advocate, and community leader, I’m deeply passionate about building a powerful legacy for our children. My vision is that South Fulton will become a destination community for families and businesses for many years to come, and I look forward to working on your behalf to make this happen.
I came to Atlanta over 15 years ago to pursue my undergraduate degree at Emory University and immediately fell in love with the metro Atlanta region. In particular though, I grew passionate about an emerging community called South Fulton. A few years after graduating, my wife and I moved to South Fulton and we’ve called it home ever since. For our family, this truly is a live, work, and play community. As a public education advocate, I work with our schools and my wife as a nurse practitioner serves the most disenfranchised portions of our populations. Our children attend public schools in Fulton County and we both are deeply involved with civic organizations right here at home.
In my work with parents and community members across our district, I've seen firsthand the opportunity our new city has in creating a government that will be responsive to the needs of our local citizens. I firmly believe that we can build a South Fulton where our children access life changing educational experiences, families are able to live, work, and play in our community, and neighborhoods are safe, affordable and vibrant.
I am asking for your support, and hope that you will make a financial contribution here today. For those in my district, on March 21st, I ask for your vote. For everyone else, I ask for your voice in ensuring our campaign is inclusive and encompassing of all our diverse stakeholder perspectives. Imagine, we get to plant the seeds for our nation’s future leaders, starting right here at home in South Fulton. Let’s make this happen together.
